As part of our culinary team you will have access to our system training which will accelerate you within your Constellation career. With excellent pay, training and other opportunities, we look forward to welcoming you to our team!

You will be working effectively alongside kitchen staff, managers, and other employees of Newbury Racecourse to ensure a smooth delivery of service, to our guests.

Working Hours

This is a flexible role; you can pick up as many or as few shifts as you like. Constellation optimises the working schedules of Compass employees, so we can also help you work at over 5,000 venues across the UK on shifts that suit you.

Main Chef Responsibilities

- Communicating with colleagues to ensure smooth delivery.

- Prepare food to menu specifications ensuring that Levy standards and procedures are followed.

- Efficiently plate during a live service.

- Assist with new team members by giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed.

- Exceptional standards of hygiene and cleanliness.

- Enjoy your work, smile and have fun!

Requirements:

• Working in a fast paced environment
• Excellent teamworking skills
• A driven and dependable approach to work
• Attention to detail
• The ability to remain calm during high-volume periods
• Must be over the age of 18
• CV required for application
• Living in the local area with accessibility to Newbury Racecourse via public transport or driving. Free parking is provided on site.

Skills / Qualifications

Experience is essential. We are hiring all levels of Chefs from Commis Chef to Lead. Please make sure to attach a copy of your CV with all relevant experience and qualifications.
