Constellation are recruiting for Sous Chefs to work across a variety of our venues. This may wary from a few days booking to 1-3 months or more. Most of the venues operate a weekly and/or fortnightly rotas with 5/7 or 7/7 operation, serving anywhere from 100 to 500+ meals per shift.

Working Hours

Constellation optimises the working schedules of Compass employees, so we can also help you work at over 5,000 venues across the UK on shifts that suit you.

Main Responsibilities

Based in a busy kitchen, your main tasks will be to:

• Prepare delicious food to menu specifications, ensuring that Levy standards and procedures are followed.
• Ensure all ingredients are available for the entire menu matrix.
• Take pride in your business and share agreed standards with your team.
• Assist with new team members by giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed.

Skills / Qualifications

• We are looking for Sous Chef's with exceptional standards of hygiene and cleanliness who inspire those around them to be passionate about food.
• Own transport required and chef kit.
• Some of these venues are within an education and defence setting and this will require a basic or enhance DBS, please make the recruiter aware if you already hold one. If not, we will assist with this process.
• Excellent communication and remaining calm under pressure will be key to ensuring smooth delivery.
