Cup Collector - Event Work, Newmarket Racecourse

We are looking for “glass” and cup collectors to join the Cup crew. Newmarket Racecourse is proudly using reusable drinking cups for all beverages sold at the venue. There are dedicated collection points on grounds where visitor dispose the used cups and your job will be to walk around and collect these cups and bringing them to the main collection area. These cups are then counted and loaded up in trays and stored on site. After the event all cups are then loaded up and transported to their central wash centres and distributed out to be re-used again.

Main duties:

· Collect used reusable plastic cups from designated collection points across the venue during events.

· Bring collected cups for the main collection area.

· Store all cups in trays, ready for transport.

· Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations during events.

Requirements:

No previous experience required.

· Good communication skills.

· Comfortable working outdoors.

· Able to work flexible hours and work weekends.
