The Role
As our Lead Hospitality Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in overseeing matchday operations, setting the tone for an excellent guest experience, and inspiring a team of dedicated hospitality staff. Your responsibilities include:
- Matchday Operations: Coordinate and oversee the setup, service, and breakdown for premium dining areas, ensuring quality and efficiency at every turn.
- Team Leadership: Manage and motivate a team of managers and staff, conducting pre-shift briefings, setting goals, and fostering an upbeat and professional environment.
- Client & Guest Engagement: Engage directly with clients, VIPs, and guests to ensure service excellence and resolve any issues with efficiency and poise.
- Strategic Planning: Work with senior management to meet service and revenue targets, maintain stock, and optimize operations for each event.
Key Qualities We’re Looking For
- Seasoned Leader: At least 3-5 years of experience in hospitality management, ideally in a high-volume or premium setting.
- Exceptional Communicator: A natural communicator with the ability to engage, motivate, and manage relationships across all levels.
- Calm & Composed: Able to think on your feet and stay calm under pressure, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Guest-Centric: An unyielding commitment to delivering an unforgettable guest experience.
- Flexible & Reliable: Available for the majority of Aston Villa’s home matchdays for the season and flexible in adapting to a dynamic schedule.
