Constellation is looking for skilled and confident Baristas with a current Enhanced DBS certificate to work on a casual, ongoing basis across a variety of sites in Brighton. These roles offer flexible shifts and the opportunity to work in respected venues including schools, care homes, and public service sites. Whether you're after full-time hours or need shifts that fit around other commitments, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Barista with Constellation, you will:

• Prepare and serve a full range of hot and cold drinks to a high standard
• Be confident using commercial coffee machines and grinders
• Be experienced in making all types of coffee, including espresso, cappuccino, flat white, latte, macchiato, and specialty drinks
• Deliver excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience for guests and staff
• Keep all preparation and serving areas clean, tidy, and compliant with hygiene standards
• Follow allergen and food safety procedures at all times
• Set up and pack down coffee stations efficiently
• Assist with light food service or till operation where required
• Adapt quickly to different settings and service expectations, including schools and care homes

What You’ll Need:

• A valid Enhanced DBS certificate (this is essential and must be up to date)
• Proven barista experience, with the ability to make a full variety of coffee drinks to a high and consistent standard
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Good timekeeping, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude
• Ability to travel independently to venues across Brighton (own transport or public transport access required)
• A flexible, can-do approach and willingness to work in varied environments
