Constellation is looking for experienced catering assistants to support and grow our exclusive back of house team at various venues across Scotland. Venues include Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) and more!


We are looking for confident candidates who have great hospitality skills and enthusiasm to match!


As a part of the Constellation team, you will be encouraged to expand your kitchen and hospitality knowledge and provide an excellent guest experience. Flexible hours are offered to suit your needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting chefs with food preparation when directed.
  • Serving food and drinks either table service or across counter.
  • Communicating with the kitchen team to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Operating cleaning machinery as shown and trained in accordance with our company policy.
  • Stocking up supplies for service.
  • Health and Safety: Operating cleaning machinery as shown and trained in accordance with our company policy. Adhering to all policies with regards to Health & Safety, Hygiene, Manual Handling and COSHH.
  • Housekeeping: Clearing tables, cleaning kitchen, sweeping & mopping floors, removing waste correctly into the appropriate areas and any other duties required.

We're looking for Catering Assistant's who are:

  • Experienced: Previous knowledge or experience in a Catering Assistant role for large venues or high-class events and busy venues.
  • Passionate: A genuine passion for hospitality, with a desire to create a memorable experience for our guests.
  • Personable: Friendly, outgoing, and able to connect with guests of all backgrounds and ages.
  • Adaptable: Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure, even during busy shifts.

Pay rate:

£12.21ph and upwards + Holiday Pay
