Main Responsibilities

Based in a busy kitchen at Market Rasen and Nottingham Racecourse, your main tasks will be to:


  • Prepare delicious food to menu specifications, ensuring that Levy standards and procedures are followed.
  • Ensure all ingredients are available for the entire menu matrix.
  • Take pride in your business and share agreed standards with your team.
  • Assist with new team members by giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed.
  • Must be able to work on own or as part of a team.
  • Must provide own transport.


Skills / Qualifications

  • We are looking for a Sous Chef for our racedays at Market Rasen and Nottingham courses, with exceptional standards of hygiene and cleanliness who inspire those around them to be passionate about food.
  • Previous experience is essential.
  • You must be over 18 for this role.
  • A good knowledge of, Catering Level 2 Food Hygiene, is required.


Excellent communication and remaining calm under pressure will be key to ensuring smooth delivery.
