Concert and Festival Staff - Aston Villa

We are hiring for multi skilled staff, who have experience as a waiter and a bartender and are available to work at our upcoming concerts at Villa Park.

Concert dates: (please only apply if you are available for all concerts)

· 23rd June

· 26th June

· 5th July

· 10th July

Requirements

· Be comfortable handling alcohol

· Must be over 18 years of age

Main Roles and Responsibilities (BAR):

• Making beverages using an extensive range of ingredients including liquor, bitters, ales, sodas, wines, water, and fruit.
• Taking beverage orders from customers, or the waiting team, and serving drinks as requested. Paying extreme attention to detail.
• Creating all beverage requests in a timely manner.
• Checking identification to verify legal age requirements for all customers.
• Having good product knowledge so you can assess customer preferences and make drink recommendations.
• Keeping a well-stocked bar with an adequate supply of liquor, beer, wine, ice, glassware, napkins, and other items.
• Cleaning the bar to maintain a sanitary work environment.
• Complying with all food and beverage regulations.

A bartender’s number 1 priority is making beverages for guests and serving them at the bar or through the waiting team, whilst maintaining a clean and organised environment.

Main Roles and Responsibilities (WAITER):

· Looking after approximately 12-16 guests ensuring they have an impeccable experience

· Creating and maintaining great relationships with guests

· Working as a cohesive team

· Upselling premium food and drink options

· Wine waiting & wine pairing with menu dishes

Skills / Qualifications

· Excellent communication and remaining calm under pressure

· Previous customer service experience

· Previous waiting and bar experience

· You can confidently take food & drink orders

· Confidence to interact and build relationships with colleagues & guests
