Constellation are looking for an energetic, people‑driven leader to take charge of the staffing operation at one of the UK’s most iconic entertainment venues. As our Constellation Lead, you’ll oversee the planning, deployment, and motivation of 400+ staff across 200+ events a year - from global concerts to show‑stopping sports events.

What You’ll Be Leading:
Inspire & Guide the Team
- Lead, support, and motivate our Regional People Consultants.
- Build a strong, positive culture where people grow, feel valued, and perform at their best.
- Keep wellbeing, engagement, and inclusion at the centre of the operation.
Power Staffing for 200+ Events a Year
- Plan, recruit, train and deploy over 400 staff across the venue.
- Work closely with department leads to understand exactly what’s needed for each event.
- Oversee staffing across Retail, Premium, Beverage, Logistics, Culinary, and more.
- Continuously refine how we do things - making the staff journey quicker, smoother, and more enjoyable.
Be the Connector
- Act as the Constellation lead for The O2 client and internal partners.
- Build great working relationships and represent Constellation at senior level.
- Jump in to solve complex staffing or people challenges when needed.
Own Workforce Planning & Cost Control
- Take charge of labour planning, forecasting, and reporting.
- Reduce reliance on agency teams by building a strong internal workforce.
- Use data and insight to make smart decisions that support great service and budget control.
Boost Engagement & Recognise Success
- Lead reward and recognition activity to keep people motivated, proud, and performing well.
- Build a workplace where people enjoy coming to work and feel supported.
- Be a visible, positive presence on site.
Drive Innovation
- Use tech and new ideas to make communication and planning sharper and more efficient.
- Constantly look for ways to simplify processes and improve the staff experience.
- Share best practice across the wider Constellation network.
What You’ll Bring
- At least 2 years’ experience leading people in events or hospitality, it doesn’t have to be a staffing background, it could be management of teams.
- Experience co-ordinating large teams in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments.
- Strong planning, organisational, and decision‑making skills.
- Confidence working with data, solving problems, and influencing stakeholders.
- A people‑first mindset, with energy, resilience, and a drive to deliver great service.
- Commercial awareness and a sense of ownership.
Working Pattern
- 40 hours per week.
- 5 days out of 7, including evenings, weekends, and some bank holidays.
- On‑site presence is essential 4-5 days a week
- Shift schedules are shared in advance across the team.
- Occasionally supporting other Constellation venues when needed.
