Pastry Chef & Senior Pastry Chef (Casual) – Premium Hospitality

Location: Edgbaston Cricket Ground


We’re looking for talented Pastry Chefs and Senior Pastry Chefs to join our Premium Hospitality team at Edgbaston Cricket Ground, delivering world-class desserts, baked goods, and sweet creations for fans, VIPs, and players.

This role gives you the opportunity to showcase creativity, precision, and skill at scale across a variety of experiences.


Important:

This is a casual role, and we’re looking for candidates who can commit to the entire cricket season. You will also be required to work prep days before each cricket day to ensure everything is ready for service. Candidates should be based locally or able to reliably travel to the stadium.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and produce high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods to premium hospitality standards
  • Bake fresh bread daily, ensuring consistency, quality, and timely delivery
  • Support menu development and presentation for matchdays, events, and café service
  • Maintain excellent food hygiene, organisation, and kitchen standards in a fast-paced environment


Who You Are

  • Experienced Pastry Chef or Senior Pastry Chef in high-end or large-scale kitchens
  • Creative, precise, and passionate about pastry craft
  • Calm under pressure, organised, and detail-oriented
  • Excellent team player with strong communication and mentoring skills
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene (Level 3 desirable for Senior Pastry Chef)
  • Able to commit to all matchdays for the season, plus prep days
