We are searching for experienced Bar Managers and Bar Supervisors to lead the charge into our Summer Season of Horse Racing.

Working Hours

📍 Location: Leopardstown Racecourse, Dublin; Fariyhouse Racecourse, Meath & Curragh Racecourse, Kildare.

What You'll Be Doing

Working amongst the beautiful grounds of three of Ireland's most illustrious racecourses, and at some of the most iconic horse racing events in the Republic of Ireland. You could be involved in the execution of renowned events such as the Irish Grand National, Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby and many more as a key member of our hospitality management team.


Are you an organised leader with great attention to detail and a passion for a good customer and staff experience? As bar manager, you will be tasked with ensuring your area runs smoothly in order to deliver not only an exceptional experience to your customers, but also the best working environment for your team.


Managerial Roles:

You must be able to interact effectively across both client and operational functions whilst managing your team in order for them to excel in their role. You will be expected to ensure your operational area is fully stocked with the necessary equipment in a timely manner prior to service, taking into account expected guest numbers, service times and any targets given to you. You will be expected to lead briefings for each shift, preparing your team for the day ahead and inspiring them to be pro-active and enthusiastic in their role.


Your role may also include responsibilities such as giving small team briefings and organizing team rotas to ensure steps of service are understood and delivered efficiently. Additionally, you will need to be able to make knowledgeable recommendations whilst proactively assisting guests with any queries or issues they may have.


Requirements:

Strong leadership skills

Compassionate and approachable personality

The ability to delegate and solve problems efficiently as they arise

Able to lead by example, in attitude, work ethic and uniform requirements

For our more senior roles, prior experience within a lead customer service position is essential.

Minimum 1 years experience in similar role.


***Please note - we will not be accepting applicants with less than 12 months experience in a similar role.
