About the Role

As a Bar Manager, you'll play a key role in overseeing busy event operations, ensuring bars run efficiently while maintaining outstanding service standards.

You'll be responsible for managing teams, overseeing stock and cash procedures, and delivering a seamless customer experience throughout each event.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing multiple bar units during high-volume events, including Leinster Rugby matchdays
• Leading, motivating, and supporting bar teams throughout service
• Delivering team briefings and communicating event requirements
• Managing staffing levels and ensuring efficient deployment of team members
• Conducting stock takes and maintaining effective stock control procedures
• Monitoring product quality and minimising wastage
• Ensuring bars are fully stocked, organised, and service-ready
• Managing cash handling procedures, including till floats, cashing up, and till reconciliation
• Resolving operational issues quickly and professionally
• Maintaining exceptional customer service standards
• Leading by example in professionalism, work ethic, and presentation

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 12 months' experience in a Bar Manager or similar hospitality leadership role
• Experience managing teams in busy, high-volume hospitality environments
• Confidence overseeing multiple bar units during large-scale events
• Strong stock management experience, including stock takes, stock control, and quality management
• Experience managing matchday or event-day staffing operations
• Competence with cash handling, cashing up procedures, and till reconciliation
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment
• A professional, approachable, and hands-on management style
