Working Hours

This role requires flexibility to support a diverse programme of events throughout the year. Working hours may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays depending on event schedules and operational requirements.

Main Responsibilities

- Lead and manage all warehouse and logistics operations across the venue. - Oversee the receipt, storage, stock control, and distribution of goods and equipment. - Ensure efficient inventory management and accurate stock records. - Coordinate deliveries and collections with internal departments, contractors, exhibitors, and suppliers. - Manage and develop warehouse staff, ensuring performance, engagement, and compliance with company standards. - Maintain high standards of health, safety, and security within all warehouse and logistics areas. - Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. - Ensure all equipment and materials are stored safely and efficiently. - Support event build-up, live event operations, and breakdown activities. - Manage logistics planning to ensure resources are allocated effectively across multiple events. - Produce reports, maintain operational records, and support budget management where required.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Previous experience in a Logistics Manager, Warehouse Manager, or similar leadership position. - Experience working within large-scale venues, events, hospitality, distribution, or logistics environments is highly desirable. - Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes. - Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices. - Proven experience leading, motivating, and developing teams. - Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Confidence using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office applications. - Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining high operational standards. - Forklift certification or other relevant logistics qualifications would be advantageous.
