Do you have experience in waiting and serving beverages in a hospitality environment?
We are currently recruiting Waiting Staff to provide a legendary dining experience for our guests at Cheltenham Racecourse on race days.
Join us for The Cheltenham Festival, the most popular and prestigious event in the jump-racing calendar.
Event Dates
- Tuesday 10th March – Champion Day
- Wednesday 11th March – Ladies Day
- Thursday 12th March – St Patrick’s Thursday
- Friday 13th March – Gold Cup Day
We have hundreds of work opportunities available across the festival and future events.
Location & Availability
- Applicants must be local to Gloucestershire or surrounding areas
- Ideally available for the full event, or a minimum of 2 days
The Role
You will be working in hospitality areas across the racecourse, delivering high-quality table service and ensuring guests enjoy a 5-star experience throughout their visit.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Serve food and drinks confidently and professionally
- Present, open, and pour wine and champagne to a high standard
- Answer menu questions and make informed recommendations
- Remain calm and professional during busy service periods
Skills & Requirements
- 18+ only
- Previous waiting or hospitality experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Confident, positive, and well-presented
- Wine pairing knowledge desirable (full training provided)
