Constellation are currently recruiting reliable and hardworking Cleaners to join the team in Newport area.

About the Role

As a Cleaner, you will play a vital role in ensuring all office, communal, and or operational areas are maintained to exceptional cleanliness and hygiene standards. You will help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for staff, visitors, patients while supporting health and safety compliance across the site. The successful candidate will be dependable, organised, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out daily cleaning duties across offices, meeting rooms, communal areas, kitchens, toilets, and operational spaces
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and polish floors and surfaces
• Empty bins and ensure waste is disposed of correctly
• Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies including soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls
• Clean touchpoints and high-traffic areas to maintain hygiene standards
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly
• Follow health & safety, COSHH, and company cleaning procedures at all times
• Report maintenance issues, hazards, or low stock levels to management
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the site
• Work efficiently to complete scheduled cleaning tasks within allocated times

Essential Requirements

• Own means of transport due to the remote location of the site
• Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Good understanding of health & safety and hygiene procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills and professional manner

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role
• Knowledge of COSHH regulations
• Experience working within offices, healthcare, manufacturing, or corporate environments
• Enhanced DBS
