he National Railway Museum is the largest railway museum in the world, with almost 1 million visitors per year. We're home to over 300 years of history and over a million wonderful objects, visitors can can marvel at iconic locomotives, watch engineering work in progress in the Workshop, browse our object-filled Warehouse, and let off steam in the outdoor play area.

Levy Restaurants is proud to be the official caterer at the National Railway Museum York which has several onsite dining areas. We recruit year round for part time hospitality staff to work in the restaurants and at private events.

How to find us:

By train The Museum is only a few minutes' walk from York station.

By bus Most bus services come into the centre of town and its only 10 minutes walk from the town centre and 5 minutes walk from the train station

By car The Museum is clearly signposted from all approaches to the city. Satnav users: use the postcode YO26 4XJ for the main car park this is opposite the main entrance to the Museum. Staff do not have to pay parking charges.
